My Bayside Terms and Conditions

Event Listing Terms

My Bayside serves as a platform for promoting events within Bayside suburbs or those hosted by Bayside-based businesses in neighbouring suburbs. By submitting an event for listing, the submitter agrees to the following terms and conditions:

• Organisations are limited to 1 (one) free basic event listing on My Bayside active at a time. Additional events can be listed for a fee and event listings can be upgraded to contain more details.
• My Bayside does not endorse or accept listings for certain types of events, including but not limited to real estate listings, auctions, open homes, garage sales, private events, or parties.
• Event details submitted must be complete, truthful, and accurate. My Bayside does not independently verify the accuracy of any submitted data and shall not be held liable for any incorrect or misleading information.
• Listings must adhere to community standards; any content containing profanity, offensive language, or images with nudity will not be accepted.
• Each event must include a designated point of contact responsible for communication with My Bayside.
• The event submitter must have the necessary permissions and legal authority to list the event.
• The submitter affirms that they hold the necessary copyright or licensing rights for all submitted content, including but not limited to text, images, and videos.

Business Listing Terms

Businesses wishing to list on My Bayside must adhere to the following terms:

• Organisations are limited to 1 (one) free basic directory listing on My Bayside active at a time. Additional directory listings can be added for a fee and directory listings can be upgraded to contain more details.
• Business listings must pertain to a legally registered business that either operates within Bayside or is owned or managed by a Bayside resident.
• All provided information must be accurate and up to date. My Bayside does not assume responsibility for verifying the accuracy of business listings.
• Businesses are responsible for ensuring that their listing information remains current. Listings must be reviewed and confirmed as accurate at least once every three (3) months; failure to do so may result in removal from the platform.
• Listings must adhere to community standards; any content containing profanity, offensive language, or images with nudity will not be accepted.
• Businesses must provide a designated point of contact for all communications with My Bayside.
• The individual submitting the business listing must have the necessary permissions and legal authority to do so.
• The submitter guarantees that they hold copyright or licensing rights for all submitted content, including but not limited to text, images, and videos.

Business Subscription Terms

Businesses that choose to upgrade from a free basic listing to a paid subscription agree to the following additional terms:

• Subscription Activation: Payment is required in advance to activate and maintain any paid business listing on My Bayside.
• Non-Payment Consequences: Failure to make payment by the due date will result in the listing being downgraded to the free basic listing tier, with the loss of all paid features.
• Billing Cycle: The subscription period is defined as one (1) calendar month, commencing on the date payment is received.
• Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued for partially used or unused paid periods, regardless of early cancellation or downgrade.
• Cancellation and Downgrades: Businesses may cancel or downgrade their subscription at any time, with the change taking effect at the end of the current paid period.
• Upgrades: Subscription upgrades take effect immediately upon payment. A pro-rata amount may be calculated based on the remaining days in the current billing cycle.
• Payment Method: All subscription payments must be made via a valid credit card through the My Bayside payment system.

Liability and Disclaimers

• My Bayside functions as a promotional platform and is not responsible for the conduct, organization, or outcomes of listed events or business activities.
• Users who attend events or engage with businesses listed on My Bayside do so at their own risk. My Bayside disclaims all liability for any injuries, losses, damages, or other incidents arising from participation in an event or engagement with a business.
• My Bayside does not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any event or business listing and shall not be held responsible for errors, misrepresentations, or omissions.
• My Bayside is not liable for technical failures, service interruptions, or other issues arising from third-party providers or external platforms linked through the service.
