The Charming Sons Play Creedence Clearwater Revival + The Great Aussie Songbook! @ Elsternwick Park Sports Club

Melbourne rock band The Charming Sons bring their high-energy live show to the Wickers Club for a celebration of classic American and Australian rock. The full-band performance features soulful rock, blues grooves, driving rhythms and big harmonies.

The headline set celebrates the songbook of Creedence Clearwater Revival, drawing on favourites including Suzie Q, Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary, Who'll Stop the Rain and Fortunate Son. The band aims to capture the distinctive grooves and swamp-rock sound associated with CCR.

To kick-start the Grand Final long weekend, The Charming Sons will also open the night with selections from the Great Aussie Songbook. The set draws on music associated with artists including Paul Kelly, Dragon, INXS, Cold Chisel and Divinyls, making this a double helping of classic rock for live music fans.
