Museums Victoria Ocean Wonders Pop Up @ Brighton Library

Explore the wonders of the ocean at the Museums Victoria Pop-Up Museum, a hands-on experience for children aged 3-13. Participants can discover fossils, collection objects, taxidermy and activities displayed on touch-tables, with Museum Educators available to answer questions.

Learn about the creatures that live on our beaches and swim in our oceans, and imagine life as a marine biologist while exploring shells, sharks and ancient marine animals. Featured objects include taxidermied animals such as a green sea turtle and a seagull, a tiger shark jaw, a whale vertebra and a wide range of shells including a giant triton shell.

The free pop-up exhibition is open from 10am to 1pm, with entry offered in booked time slots. A booking is required for each adult and child. If the space reaches capacity, visitors may need to wait briefly before entering. The event is organised by Bayside Libraries at Brighton Library.
