ANZAC Day 2026 at Highett RSL

ANZAC Day 2026 at Highett RSL offers a full program of commemorative and community events to honour and remember those who have served. The day begins early with a 5.30am assembly in Henry Street, followed by a march to the RSL and a dawn service held at the front of the venue.

Following the service, attendees are invited to take part in a traditional gunfire breakfast. Veterans and carers are hosted inside the RSL, while members and guests are welcomed in the nearby temporary pocket park. The morning continues with the opening of the RSL Club Bar and a game of two-up in the sports bar.

Throughout the afternoon and evening, the venue remains active with its bistro open for lunch and dinner service. The day also features the AFL ANZAC match between Essendon and Collingwood, creating an opportunity for the community to gather, reflect, and connect in remembrance.
